Privacy Policy

Words by Cork (the app) is a word puzzle game published by Cork Information Technology. This policy explains what information is handled when you play.

Information we collect ourselves

None. The app has no accounts and no sign in, and we operate no servers that receive your data. Your game progress, coins, streak and settings are stored only on your device. If you uninstall the app, that data is deleted with it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads using Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, and coarse ad interaction data. Google performs this collection under its own policies. Please see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from AdMob. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (Settings, then Google, then Ads).

Purchases inside the app

Optional coin packs are sold through Google Play’s billing system. Google Play processes all payment details, and we never see your card or bank information. Purchases are delivered on your device.

Notifications

If you turn on the optional Daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. No data is sent anywhere. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.

Children

The app is a word game for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only outside data handling is Google’s ad serving described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new Last updated date.
